Grace Potter is auctioning off a hand painted birdhouse to support the efforts of Abolition International.

In partnership with Free the Birds, the Celebrity Birdhouse Auction for Abolition International will support quality aftercare for women and children rescued from sex trafficking in the United States. Support raised through the auction will help give sex trafficking victims safe shelter, quality care, and a chance at a better future.

Victims of domestic sex trafficking are extensively traumatized and have specific needs and recovery steps that are unique to their level of trauma. To help ensure quality aftercare, Abolition International is creating an accreditation manual that will outline promising practices for survivors of sex trafficking.  These practices will help each survivor begin to piece together a better, brighter future.

Amanda’s story is based on a true account from Abolition International’s partner restoration home, Wellspring Living, in Atlanta, GA. Through Wellspring Living, Amanda experienced the power of true restoration through the program’s holistic aftercare model.
